Nominations, Elections, & Nominees

Nominations:

  • Nominee Application
  • Nominee Bio
  • Nominee Background Check (only required of those nominees with access to the OSBA checking/savings/Certificates of Deposit)
  • Treasurer Nominee (must be bonded)

Questions candidates are to answer:

  1. How long has the nominee been involved in Ohio beekeeping?
  2. What beekeeping clubs and organizations is the nominee a member of?
  3. List the beekeeping activities and achievements the nominee has participated in or received.
  4. What qualifications does the nominee bring to the position?
  5. Have you read the Constitution and understand the position for which the individual is nominated?
  6. Please attach a short bio, personal photo, and any additional information that may help describe the individual’s skills.

Elections:

The online elections will be run through ElectionRunner.com. Only Life Members, 2025 Paid Members, and 2025 Complimentary Members will receive an email from ElectionRunner.com with a VoterID (your email address), Voter Key (special characters), and an active link that takes you directly to the election ballot.

Absentee ballots will be sent via email and may be downloaded below. Please send your ballot to: Roger Myers, 1760 CR-2, Swanton, OH 43558.

Write-in candidates are permitted under the following guidelines: The name on the write-in ballot section must be spelled correctly using the first and last name. The home address or name of the home club or home city of the write-in candidate must be used to avoid any like-named persons. The candidate must be an OSBA member in good standing.
